Where is the most weird or awesome street in Los Angeles?

Almost any local neighborhood in Los Angeles has a weird street. Possibly it’s some neighborhood occupants that give the spot a bit too much character.

Possibly it’s a sort of freaky architecture or local characteristic that makes the street} simply a bit bit curious, or altogether awesome.

Or there’s a wonderful neighborhood legend or human history in and around a particular street in Los Angeles.

Most likely it’s your favorite street in the city and you’ve got a really good reason or fondly-held recollections as to why.

Possibly it’s a just a genuinely stupid name for a street in LA.

Let us know yours!

In My Opinion:
It’s the lower end of Beverly Blvd!
“character overload”

My favorite is still at Santa Monica Boulevard & Third Street, just south of Wilshire: The Third Street Promenade!

You can see the Pacific Ocean just a couple hundred yards away. Just a word to the wise, you visitors: visiting the beach at night can be very, *VERY* dangerous. I learned that the hard way just a couple of weeks after first setting foot in Los Angeles. Aside from LA’s homeless and the odd sociopath wandering around at 3am, there are also people that do their candle-burning ritual thing on the beach during the odd hours of the night.
These folks are NOT the social type and they do NOT like visitors!

Please visit the beach, but walk back toward the Promenade as the sun disappears behind the horizon. There are still plenty of street performers and Harvey Krishnas to keep your evening occupied!

:-) :-) :-)
