As much as I want to say McDonalds here I’m guessing they’re looking for some class, so I’d have to say the hungry cat restaurant. You get a lot for your money, and they fry them in peanut oil which sounds disgusting but is actually really good :)
Honey Kettle Fried Chicken,..not only best chicken, biscuits..but BEST fries …yum!
Though I *LOVE* McDonald’s french fries without salt, freshly made (I’m always willing to wait the extra 5-6 minutes), because I have this thing about recommending little independant eateries on record (like music and entertainment) I would have to officially report that it’s a tie between “Musso & Frank’s Grill” in Hollywood where I also make the occasional pilgrimage for their crab louie salad and “Comme Ça” Bistro in the heart of West Hollywood! At Comme Ça I’ve eaten them with this spiced garlic mayo-based thing that tastes DIVINE with the potatoes; so yummy!! :-p
